Performance art meets percussion as renowned conductor of New York's Alarm Will Sound Alan Pierson conducts an explosive evening of avant-garde music mastery. Fred Rzewski's epic cult classic Coming Together is a setting of letters written by Sam Melville, who died in the Attica State Prison riots. Other highlights will include a world premiere by Michael Colgrass performed by "the Paganini of the steelpan", Liam Teague and Arpatambora, Alice Ho's Kami and George Antheil's riotous Ballet Mécanique. Performers include Beverley Johnston, Richard Moore, Ryan Scott, Sanya Eng and more.
