We celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of The Berlin Wall in a retrospective of German culture before and after the wall's monumental collapse in 1989. Featuring a remarkable photo exhibit by Berlin-based artists Hartmut Jahn entitled The Berlin Wall: Sold Out. This enormous floor exhibit consists of 1 meter x 10 meter long panoramic photographs of pieces of the Berlin Wall, which has now been "sold out" to collectors around the world.
Other guests will include Dr. Mark Webber and Dr. Marcus Funck from the Canadian Centre for German and European studies at York University who will discuss the role of music and musicians in the fall of the wall.
