Soundstreams Canada Presents Salon 21
Posted: October 22, 2008
A Salon for the 21st Century
According to the traditional definition, a salon is a gathering of curious individuals, to amuse, to please and educate through conversation and readings. With Salon 21, Soundstreams aims to create a warm, casual environment for discovery and interaction. Guests will mix and mingle upon arrival, and then are treated to a half hour discussion with a guest speaker, followed by a twenty minute question and answer period. The chat spills into a reception that allows for mixing and mingling, listening to music, and the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Soundstreams presentation. Terrific Toes Tickets awards two tickets to the next concert in the Soundstreams season to the guest with the most sensational pair of shoes at each Salon 21 event. After the talk audiences also get the chance to wander around in the extraordinary Bata Shoe collection.
